Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood

St. Isaac's Cathedral
The Saint Isaac’s Cathedral is the largest church in Saint Petersburg, it was built between 1818 and 1858 by Auguste Montferrand. Today it is the 3rd largest domed cathedral in the world standing at 101.5 meters high. Inside the church has stunning mosaic icons, gold mosaics, stone decoration, paintings and an iconostasis with columns of malachite and lapis lazuli. read more
